Ravichandran's next to touch upon on contemporary issues

Crazy Star Ravichandran, who has been experimenting with varied roles, is teaming up with director Gururaj Kulkarni for as yet untitled legal thriller project which will have an ensemble cast that touches upon contemporary issues.

Director Gururaj Kulkarni, who last directed Amruth Apartments, says, “Ravichandran is a showman of our industry, he himself is a university of films, had a lot of confidence in my content and narration which is why agreed to act in my directorial.”

Revealing about the plot, he adds, “In the movie, he fights within the provisions of the constitution for issues relating to politics and national security which has huge relevance in the current period. Thriller movies are alluring younger audiences, Ravichandran has one such role which will connect him with a new generation of audiences and will give him a transformation of sorts in his career. There is another major character in the film which presents views which are contrasting to Ravichandran’s role. We are talking about the legal ethical code of conduct in the judiciary which the protagonist uses judiciously.”

The team plans to begin the shoot in April.
