Ravichandran and Dhanya come together for a legal thriller, inspired by real life

Actors Ravichandran and Dhanya Ramkumar are collaborating with Gururaj Kulkarni of Amrutha Apartments fame for a legal thriller. The movie, makers say, is very much a ‘Bengaluru story’ and is inspired by real-life incidents.
Speaking about the film, director Gururaj says, “I am so glad I could bring Ravi and Dhanya together on screen. They both have their own legacy.That said, they are not paired together. While Ravichandran plays a man who strongly believes in the legal system, Dhanya is hurt by it and is fighting it. There are several electrifying scenes between the two.”

The muhurat of the film will be held today. ‘Dr Rajkumar, our guiding force’
For any actor or director in the Kananda film industry, Dr Rajkumar is an inspiration and Gururaj is no exception. And there are two reasons for him to cherish this film. For one, the film will go on floors on April 24, Dr Rajkumar’s birth anniversary. Second, Dhanya, Dr Raj’s granddaughter, is a part of his film. “I am just glad and excited,” he shares.
“As a filmmaker and fan of Dr Raj, launching a film on his birthday feels like the biggest blessing. We believe that he is our guiding force. We will have a small pooja on the 24th on the sets, to celebrate his birthday before starting the film,” Gururaj concludes.
