Rashmika is the latest to get trolled. Are fans going overboard?

Kirik Party girl Rashmika Mandanna was not ready for what was coming her way last weekend. A clip from a chat show, which was shot over six months back, resurfaced because of fans and troll pages. The actress was asked among other questions, who is Mr Show-off. Claiming ignorance that she didn’t know anyone properly, she first pointed at to-be-fiance Raskhit Shetty and then uttered Yash’s name after being cajoled on the show.Such instances are common on chat shows in the West and in Bollywood, but Yash’s fans took to social media with abusive messages to Rashmika.
Sources say that all is well between Yash and Rashmika and there’s no offence taken by the former. Rashmika even apologized to Yash and his fans in a post online. Yash also issued a statement, which read, “I generally ignore these kind of things, since it is very evident that you guys (his fans) are hurt, I thought I should react. Firstly, (I) would like to thank all my fans for their love and support. I don’t know Rashmika personally, nor have I ever spoken to her, but she has all the right to her opinion, let’s not disrespect it. ‘You never become someone else’s opinion’. Let’s ignore this issue from this very moment.”
