Ranveer and Deepika go green at Bengaluru reception

The Bengaluru reception for newly-weds Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone was in sync with the city’s

eco-friendly

vibe. The couple ensured that they set an example by going eco-friendly at the do by using biodegradable tableware for their reception.
The guests at the event were served in products made from

sugarcane

fibre that can be easily decomposed after disposal. Spokespersons from the eco-friendly tableware brand that was used at the event said that plastic and styrofoam plates take much longer to decompose and harm the environment in the process. This was one of the reasons the families chose to go eco-friendly at the reception. There were around 75,000 units of their tableware products that were supplied for the reception. The couple also received some of the products in a specially-packed hamper that was was put together by the hotel that hosted the reception, along with other special goodies.
