Ramya to file her nomination on March 24

Actor-turned-politician Ramya, who is contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha 2014 from Mandya constituency, is all set to file her nomination on March 24.
The actress shared the information with her fans on her microblogging page.
“Change of plans.. Will be filing for my nomination on the 24th of March,” Ramya tweeted.
She kick-started her campaign from the Mandya district on March 13.She is the Congress candidate from Mandya constituency.
"Kick started my campaign today! Day #1 with the blessings of the people of Mandya district," tweeted the actor-politician.
Last year, Ramya made her electoral debut by contesting the Mandya by-polls as a Congress candidate. She won with a margin of nearly 50,000 votes over her nearest rival, JD(S) candidate CS Putturaju.
