Ramya slams Dhurandhar 2, calls it a “huge disappointment”
Kannada actor Ramya has strongly criticised the Bollywood film Dhurandhar 2, sharing a scathing review on her social media handles shortly after watching the film.
In a brutally honest take, Ramya described the sequel as an “endurance test,” saying it turns a promising premise into a tedious and exhausting experience. Comparing it to “reading a textbook of the most boring subject,” she remarked that the film quickly loses engagement, leaving viewers frustrated rather than entertained.
She didn’t hold back on the technical aspects either, calling the direction, dialogues, editing, background score, and performances “consistently subpar.” The actor added that the film lacks the energy and audience engagement that the first instalment had, noting that theatres this time felt filled with “collective disappointment.”
Ramya also took aim at lead actor Ranveer Singh, questioning claims that he carries the film. In a sarcastic remark, she said all she noticed was his hair, adding that even that seemed to lack the personality it had in the first part.
The film’s excessive violence came in for particular criticism, with Ramya calling it a “visual handbook” on creative brutality. She suggested that the relentless escalation of violent scenes eventually becomes unintentionally comical rather than impactful.
In a pointed closing note, she addressed director Aditya Dhar, criticising what she termed outdated jingoism and propaganda, and urged him to “get over it.”
Summing up her verdict, Ramya called Dhurandhar 2 a “huge disappointment” and advised viewers to skip watching it in theatres.

Narry_Bhai_Mochchi and his henchmen, including all hate_filled_scummbags masquerading as businessmen are pouring billions into making propaganda movies. They know well that Indians as brainless_blind_sheep, to whom movies is the main source, and in some cases the only source, of entertainment and truth. Moronic_audience consider whatever is shown in the movies as truth. These criminals ruling the country know that very well. Their goal is to spread hate, sow division in the society and remain in power. What's ironic is that even the Muslims in the country are spending huge money to watch these movies without even realizing that it's going to be used to burn their homes and eliminate their children.Read allPost comment
