Ramya celebrates 15 years release of Polladhavan

As Polladhavan movie completed 15 years of it’s release, Ramya travelled to Chennai to celebrate the occasion. The team cut a special cake to celebrate the occasion. Ramya had a great time meeting her Dhanush and director Vetrimaraan
Sharing pictures and videos, Ramya on her Instagram page posted, Polladhavan 15 years to the date! I had auditioned for Varanam Aayiram with Surya & Gautham Menon happened to show the small scene that we shot together to @dhanushkraja and he suggested me to Vetri sir who was making his directorial debut with Polladhavan.Neither Vetri Sir, Dhanush or I had met or interacted before. I heard the script over the phone and I loved the idea about a ‘guy, his bike and his girl’ I got to know later that I was the 15th heroine.

It was on the sets of Polladhavan that Dhanush and I developed a close bond and we stand together 15 years later- through thick and thin. Thank you D for always being there! Thank you Vetri sir @vetrimaaran_._ I had a wonderful time shooting & catching up yesterday on all the good memories! @gvprakash the best BGM ever! GV was 19 at that time! Beat that (no pun intended). Look forward to Polladhavan 2.”
Ramya has also returned to acting after a decade with the movie Uttarakanda which sees her sharing screen space with Dhananjaya.
