Ramesh Aravind’s unexpected link to the King of Pop
Michael, the biopic on the legendary Michael Jackson, is creating a buzz in cinemas, leaving audiences wanting more. The film revisits some of the most iconic songs and electrifying performances of the King of Pop. But here’s a surprising twist—did you know that Sandalwood’s own Ramesh Aravind shares a fascinating connection with MJ? Sharing this interesting insight, Ramesh tells us that in a song called Kshamisi Naa Helodella from one of his earliest films, Sundara Swapnagalu, he wears a red jacket that was inspired by Michael’s outfit in the superhit track Thriller. “We were a generation that grew up on Michael’s music and Thriller has just come around the same time and was the rage. We would listen to it all the time.
His red jacket was a style quotient and we decided to incorporate that look into the Kshamisi song. It’s also a song that had me doing full-fledged dance moves. That was fun,” shares Ramesh. The actor is also drawing appreciation for his turnout in the recent KD. Meanwhile, Ramesh is shooting for Yours Sincerely Ram and is excited for people to see what’s in store. “I’m also reading a lot these days and have read four books back to back. It gives me a lot of ponder on and also provides fodder for my talks,” sums up Ramesh.
