Ramesh Aravind grateful to K Balachander

Well known director K Balachander, who has been responsible for guiding several actors like Kamal Haasan and Ramesh Aravind among many others, celebrates his birthday today.
Ramesh Aravind, who has acted in the director's Kannada film Sundara Swapnagalu and Tamil films Manathil Uruthi Vendum and Duet, said on his twitter page, "Happy returns of the day KB sir..thanks for showing us the way:-)."
Balachander, who has mostly made Tamil films, has also directed a couple of Kannada and Hindi films.While some of his other Kannada films include Mugila Malligey, Thappida Thala, Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu; his Hindi films include Dhilon Ka Rishta, Zara si Zindagi among others.
The writer-director was also responsible in introducing actor Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth into films. Both Kamal and Rajinikanth began their career in films with the advise of and guidance from K Balachander.
