Ramdas Naidu turns author

Filmmaker Ramdas Naidu, known for his art films is now playing a new role, he has turned author and has come out with his first book. Ramdas has written a book on world cinema and the book is due to be released on July 13. The director mentioned that this is a first of its kind in Indian cinema and no one has made any such attempt till date. He said, “'I was planning to write a reference book on World Cinema for a while.I have been doing research for the past 20 years and have collected a lot of materials regarding this. It’s a five book volume out of which, the first volume is ready for release.”
The film volume of the book will be released on July 13 at Yavanika Auditorium in the evening at 6 pm. The book will be released by union minister for petroleum, Veerappa Moily. Kannada and Culture minister, Umashree, will preside over the event. Dr Girish Kasaravalli, H S Venkateshamurthy, Dr Kum Veerabhadrappa will be the amongst the guests attending this event.
