', which was released in 2016 and featured K Jayaram, Dharmanna Kadur, Nataraj, Bimbashree and MK Mutt among others, had attracted people. The movie was screened at many film festivals and received a lot of accolades. Now, this movie is reportedly being remade in Marathi.
As per reports, a renowned production company has bought the remake rights for the Marathi version of ‘Rama Rama Re...’ It is being said that the shooting will start after the lockdown is over, and other details about the film will be revealed soon.
South Indian producer
Rockline Venkatesh had earlier bought the remake rights of the film and produced it in Telugu in 2018 as 'Aatagadharaa Siva'. Jayaram's role in Kannada was played by Doddanna in Telugu. Director
Chandra Siddharth had directed the Telugu version, which also starred
Uday Shankar, Hyper Aadi and Chamak Chandra.
Director D Satya Prakash and music director Vasuki Vaibhav made their debuts in Sandalwood with this movie. The ‘Kelu Krishna’ song was a big hit from the movie. Satya Prakash even won the
Karnataka State Film Awards
for the movie.
