Rakshit’s lyrics are thought-provoking: Hemanth M Rao

For Saptha Saagaradache Ello Side B, director Hemanth M Rao asked lead actor Rakshit Shetty to pen a song. “Rakshit looks at life closely and all his observations culminate into soul-stirring lyrics. Not to forget, I find them thought-provoking as well,” says Hemanth. While Rakshit had written for their previous outing Godhi Banna Saadharana Mykattu, the last time Rakshit penned lyrics for a song was for Kirik Party seven years ago. “This song is about conveying Manu’s state of mind and it comes at a crucial juncture in the film,” avers Hemanth. Meanwhile, Rakshit tells us that he enjoys the process of writing, be it the stories of his films or even lyrics. “I have a different outlook towards life and believe everything about it has a spiritual tone: I also go into a meditative state when I write and feel it helps bring out my best,” says Rakshit.
