Rakshit Shetty to play a gangster in his next

Rakshit Shetty, who is currently shooting for Rikki in Karkala, has confirmed his next project. He will star in director Shashikant’s next venture, which has been titled Ekka Raja Rani. The project is scheduled to take off in November. About signing this film, Rakshit says, “I have given my consent to the makers because this is one of the best scripts I have heard.”
Speaking about Rakshit’s role, Shashikant says, “Rakshit plays a character that he probably hasn’t done yet— it’s that of a gangster (not a rowdy).A reference for this will be Vivek Oberoi’s Chandu in RGV’s Company. Ekka Raja Rani is a gangster film in its actual sense and does not involve the longu machchu.”
