Sources say the eagerly awaited Rajinikanth starrer film is expected to be released during Diwali.With Diwali falling on November 2 (Saturday), the film could most likely hit the screens on November 1 (Friday), reveals a source.

Kochadaiiyaan is a Tamil period film that has Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone, Sarathkumar, Rukmini Vijaykumar, and Nassar, among others. The film, which was shot with motion capture in 3D, has cinematography by Rajiv Menon and soundtrack composed by AR Rahman.
