Rajnikanth disturbed about Supreme Court’s verdict

The entire film industry has gone into depression since the Supreme Court’s verdict on Sanjay Dutt has been passed. One such person is none other than superstar Rajnikanth, who is from Bangalore and has acted in many Kannada films. On hearing about the judgement, the veteran actor was very disturbed. In a press release, he has stated that, he was disturbed when the verdict was announced.Sanjay Dutt is a good human being and he is a good friend of him. But he does hope for a positive outcome from the pardon plea and has been praying for Sanjay’s wellbeing.
Sanjay was sentenced to five years jail term by a TADA court in the 1993 Mumbai blasts and also for the illegal possession of 9 mm pistol and an AK-56 rifle by the trial court. He was acquitted of more serious terror charges under the Terrorists and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act.
