The suspense is finally over. Sources say the much eagerly awaited Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiyaan is expected to be released during Diwali. With Diwali falling on November 2 (Saturday), the film could most likely hit the screens on November 1 (Friday), reveals a source.
The audience across Karnataka is eagerly waiting for Rajni Sir's upcoming film, who originally hails from Bangalore and did several hit Kannada films Thappida Thala, Garjana, Maathu Tappada Maga, and Kumkuma Rakshe, to name a few.

The release of the movie got delayed as it involves a lot of computer graphics and other advanced technologies. The Tamil superstar will be seen playing double role in the film-- that of a loyal commander to an emperor and his son. While Shobana is paired opposite Rajini senior, the son has Deepika Padukone as the love interest. Kochadaiyaan is made using 3D using motion capturing technology and is being directed by Soundarya R Ashwin, the younger daughter of the Superstar. The film has music by AR Rahman and the film is touted to be at par with Hollywood movies such as Avatarand Tintin.
