Rajinikanth has a big heart

Born and raised in Bangalore, Rajnikanth went on to become one of the biggest stars of the Indian film industry, receiving high praise from the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. The superstar is known to be down-to-earth and generous when it comes to appreciating the work of others, and debutant director Atlee Kumar got to experience this first-hand recently.
A self-confessed Rajini fan, Atlee, went to invite the superstar to attend the audio release of his upcoming film Raja Rani. Atlee was on cloud nine when after watching the trailer of the film, which stars Kannada film Super actress Nayanthara and Aryan, Rajini told him that he liked what he saw and wished the debutant the best of luck. This meant the world to Atlee, who says that he wanted to enter the film industry after watching Rajini’s 1991 film Thalapathi.
Rajinikanth was supposed to attend the audio release of Raja Rani on Friday, but could not as something else came up. The film is about two couples who try to find love after a break-up, and also stars Jai and Nazriya Nizam.
