are quite the best of friends. They have also been intending to work together for a while. The two of them had first collaborated when Rachita had backed
Rishabhapriya
, which was a short film and the debut directorial venture of Mayuraa.
The two of them were next supposed to work together on Mayuraa's debut feature film with Rachita being the lead, but that didn't work out the way they had planned. But, the friends have always been waiting to work together once again and their new collaboration has a title. The two of them, on a
Dasara special television interview, revealed that their new feature film has a title and it will be called
Pankaja Kasturi
.
We had earlier informed you that the two of them would be collaborating together for the official remake of the
Nayanthara starrer Tamil film
Kolamavu Kokila
. This film already has raised the anticipation among film buffs as the original from Tamil had won both critical and audience acclaim.
Rachita, who had till lately been a part of only mainstream commercial potboilers, has been recently looking at exploring her horizon and has been signing more content oriented cinema. The actress recently had done a special photoshoot for her female centric project Lilly that was revealed on her birthday. She also has April, another author backed role. Now, with Pankaja Kasturi, she seems to be armed with a lot of good roles to ensure she wins not just the massy audience but also the ones who look for different content too.
