RRaanna, Rakshitha Prem’s brother, made his debut earlier this year with Ek Love Ya, directed by Prem. Ever since, the actor has not officially spoken about what is in the pipeline. Raanna has confirmed that his next film will also be helmed by Vijay Eshwar, who was the writer of Ek Love Ya. Vijay was also part of the directorial team.

“Vijay and I hit it off very well on the film set, where we also began discussing the possibility of collaborating on one of his films. After Ek Love Ya was released, I did get to hear many scripts. But when Vijay narrated his story to my sister, brother-in-law and I, we all loved it,” shares Raanna.
The film is currently in the pre-production stage. “I have been involved in the process and it has been a good journey so far. We will announce the first look, title, production house, and other details soon. We hope it will go on floors soon, and we don’t want to divulge too many details. I can say that it will have a unique story and settings that can charm everyone,” says Raanna.
The actor wants to refrain from working in a formulaic commercial cinema. Instead, he wants to focus on innovative yet entertaining content. “It is clear that people don’t hesitate to call out a bad film. I always keep this in mind when I sign projects,” he signs off.
