Raajakumara team to reunite for another film this year

It’s official! After the success of Puneeth Rajkumar-starrer Raajakumara in 2017, the dream team comprising the star, his director Santhosh Ananddram and producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, announce yet another project this New Year.
“This team first got together with the sole intention of creating quality content films and the result was Raajakumara.The fact that the film did exceptionally well and broke a couple of box office records in the process is secondary. We have exactly the same intention for our next one — to bring in quality cinema to our audiences,” reveals director Santhosh.
The new project, therefore, comes with a whole of expectations. “We took a few months to get over the overwhelming response to our last onscreen outing together. It also marked the second milestone in my career after Mr and Mrs Ramachari and Raajakumara. So, I took a little longer to put together a story — and now we have zeroed in on our script — one that is socially relevant to life as we know it today and has a good message and is structured around human values, emotions and sentiments. The audiences’ expectations present us with a huge responsibility as well, but with like-minded people onboard, I am confident of meeting these expectations. In fact, the team gets along so well that we already have plans of at least two to three more projects with Hombale films in the pipeline,” explains Santhosh.
Producer Vijay Kiragandur tells us, “This team has set a benchmark of sorts with Raajakumara and we have picked a really good storyline for our next film together. The intention is to ensure great cinema for our audience. We have begun pre-production work on this project. We will announce the title of this film by around March and will be going on floors to shoot in June this year.”
