The shoot for Komal’s latest project, Pyaar Ge Agbuttaithe, began at the Kadu Malleshwara Temple in the busy area of Malleswaram in Bangalore. The bilingual film (it will be made in Kannada and Telugu) is a remake of the Marathi film Mumbai Pune Mumbai, and is directed by Kevin Bala. Actress
Prarthana will make her film debut with this project. The Mount Carmel College student was spotted from at a dance programme by Kevin.
The director has also roped in actors like Satyajith, Anand, Ravindranath and Honnavalli Krishna in supporting roles for the film. He has also got on board two other members of the crew who he has worked with earlier: cameraman Bala Bharani and music director Dharma Teja.
Pyaar Ge Agbuttaithe, which is touted to be a love fantasy, will be shot in Bangalore, Mysore, Sakleshpur and Kasargod, among other places.
Incidentally, the title of the film comes from the popular song in one of Komal’s previous films,
Govindayanamaha.
