Puta 109’s title track will showcase J Karthik’s cop avatar

, is almost here and in the run-up to the release, the director is launching the lyrical video of the

title track

today. The song, Puta 109, is a peppy number written by

Phaneesh Raja

and composed by

Ganesh Narayan

, both of whom worked on Dayal’s Aa Karaala Ratri as well.
“The objective of a number like this was to make sure that audiences connect to the title, Puta 109. The highlight of the song is that we have used live instruments for the orchestration. The title track will be played at the end of the film, as well as during promotional events. The lyrical video that will be out today will feature glimpses from the making of the film, primarily from the perspective of J Karthik’s character — a cop. Since the song is peppy, people will expect it to be a dance number, so we thought of showing them JK’s dance and action capabilities, for which we got stunt master Jolly Bastian to put together some moves, and Tribhuvan master for the dance portions,” says Dayal.
