Pungidas, one more comedy from Komal

The year 2012 has been good to Kannada actor Komal Kumar, who hopes to keep his success rate up. The comedian-turned-hero has just begun work on his next film, titled Pungidas.
To be shot in Mysore and Madikere extensively, Pungidas promises to be a laugh riot from the word go. The film is being directed by Rambo Srinath and will be the first Kannada film to be produced under the SSV Productions banner.
“We have a 45 day shoot schedule fixed for the film, which we hope to begin by June 2,” said the director at the film’s muhurath which was held at a temple in Basaweshwarnagar, Bangalore.
The film also stars Loknath, Rajendra Karanth, Sudha Belawadi and Ananth Nag. The team is in talks with a few heroines for the lead role. The team hopes to zero in on a Malayalam actress for the same.
