Puneeth Rajkumar to be laid to rest tomorrow at Kanteerava Studios

The final rites of Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar will be performed on Sunday at Kanteerava Studios with full state honours. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bomani has announced that final rites could not be performed today because fans have been coming in from all parts of Karnataka so it has been decided to conduct final rites tomorrow after discussing with family members.

The decision was taken as large crowds were gathering at Kanteerava Studios to have a final glimpse of Puneeth Rajkuamr.Earlier in the day, it was decided to perform final rites today as Puneeth’s daughter Drithi was expected to reach Bengaluru today from the USA.
Puneeth, son of Dr Rajkumar, who was 46 is survived by his wife and two daughters. He also has two brothers and two sisters. He was one of the prominent stars of the Sandalwood industry. The actor who is known for its humility, simplicity and was affable to his fans.
He made his debut as a hero with the movie Appu. As a child artist, he won a national award for his performance in Bettada Hoovu.
