If one looks at the iconic films like
Pushpaka Vimana

Michael Madana Kama Rajan
, one cannot miss the heritage hotel Windsor Manor in them. Since then, though, no film shoots have been allowed there. But now, after nearly 30 years, the team of Puneeth Rajkumar’s next,
James, managed to convince the management to let them shoot there.
Director
Chethan says, "We approached them, as the hotel has a distinct look and is remembered by film lovers. When the management learnt that the request was for a Puneeth film, they were quite forthcoming and allowed us to go ahead. It was beautiful to shoot there, especially since the location has been made popular by some memorable films. Our sequence included Puneeth sir, Adithya Menon, Srikanth and Mukesh Rishi, among many other actors."
Puneeth also stated that he felt great to shoot in a location that has become a landmark because of films like
Pushpaka Vimana. The film, which has Priya Anand as the leading lady, is also expected to have many more big additions to its cast in the coming year.
