Puneeth Rajkumar facilitates eminent film personalities

It was Dr Rajkumar's 85th birth anniversary on Thursday, and like every year, this year too, the matinee idol's family marked the day with a special event. Members of the family — brothers Puneeth Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar, and with mother Parvathamma Rajkumar — paid their respects to Dr Rajkumar at his samadhi in Kanteerva Studio. But what was interesting this year was that Puneeth and Raghavendra took time out to felicitate prominent Sandalwood personalities.
Those who were honoured at the event included actors Honavalli Krishna, MN Lakshmi Devi and Sadhashiva Brahmavar. Also present at the event were directors Girish Kasarvalli and Suri, music director V Harikrishna, Lahari audio proprietor Lahari Velu and Vinay Rajkumar, who is all set to make his acting debut.
Missing from the event, however, was the older Rajkumar son, Shivarajkumar. The actor is still in mourning as his wife Geetha's mother, who is the wife of former chief minister S Bangarappa, passed away recently.
