Puksatte Lifu producer Nagaraja Somayaji takes to direction

Filmmaker, photographer and producer Nagaraja Somayaji is working on his maiden feature film, delightfully titled Akatakata.
"The film is titled Akatakata since not only does it have a dramatic effect, but it also signifies what my story is like. The film has a lot of twists and turns that makes one go ayyo or ayyayyo, collectively signified by the expression Akatakata.So, it works best," he says.
Nagaraja had debuted as a producer last year with Puksatte Lifu that starred late Sanchari Vijay in the lead. He has also made the critically acclaimed short film, The Best Actor.
Nagaraja reveals that he is launching a new actor, Narthan, as the lead. The leading lady is currently being shortlisted and the rest of the cast and crew is also being finalized. The filmmaker is also planning workshops for his cast and crew before he commences shooting.
"I am in the final stages of getting the script together and will then get on with the workshops. We hope to begin shooting around April," he says.
