Priyanka paired opposite Yogi in action flick

Newbie Priyanka, who had previously acted in Kannada films like Kaali Dabba and Mr and Mrs Jaanu, will be sharing screen space with Yogi in an action-oriented film Lankasura, which has Vinod Prabhakar and Parvathy Arun in lead roles. The project is helmed by Pramod Kumar and also has Ravi Shankar and Devaraj among the supporting cast.
Priyanka says, “I play a bold girl who always wants her rights to be protected and never tolerates if someone metes out injustice, especially to women.The role is close to my real life which made me accept the project. I shot for a couple of days with Yogi before the lockdown.”
Priyanka is playing the role of a scientist in the Tamil movie Dhwani. “My character in Dhwani has negative shades. It shows how educated people cause more harm to society than ordinary citizens. It’s like a coming-of-age character which was quite tough, as I needed to change my manners to portray the character,” she sums up.
