Priya Mani’s doing only heroine-centric films

South actress Priya Mani, whose last Kannada release was Charulathaa, in which she played conjoined twins, is being wooed with heroine-centric films. The actress, who is currently working on two Telugu films, Chandi and Angulika, says that the scripts of both revolve around her characters. And now we hear that she is all set to sign up for a couple of Malayalam films that will have her as the focus.
Priya has apparently been approached for a film with actor Jayaram, directed by director Kamal, as well as one with director Anil Das. “I’ve been approached by the teams of both these films. We are currently trying to work out date schedules. If all goes well, I will do both,” says Priya, adding that a new project in Kannada is also probably on the anvil.
