Prem’s 25th film is Premam Poojyam

Nenapirali Prem has taken time to announce his 25th film. Finally the title and the first look of the film was released recently. The film, Premam Poojyam, will be directed by doctor-turned-director Raghavendra. Prem’s previous film, Life Jothe Ond Selfie, released in August 2018.
About handing over the reins of his landmark film to a rookie, Prem said it was the passion of Raghavendra that impressed him.“He is a doctor, but his passion for films is impressive. When he came to me with the story, that was the first thing I asked him about. He said that he did not want any concessions because is a doctor and said that I should do the film only if he was convinced about the story. At the end of two-and-a-half hours of narration, I stood up and clapped,” Prem says.
Without revealing the story, Prem says that he could not have asked for a better film as his 25th. “The story is very fresh and there is many years of homework behind the script. There is a lot of clarity in Dr Raghavendra’s approach. When I asked him about a few doubts, he was able to clarify them without even referring to any notes. His narration was without a single hiccup. I have seen very few people with such clarity of thought,” says Prem.
Shooting for the film is set to commence at the end of April. Other cast and crew are being put together.
