‘Prayanikara Gamanakke is a suspense thriller that unfolds over one night’

Suresh adds, “The story is inspired by a real incident involving the kidnapping of a diamond merchant, who was on his way to catch a long-distance bus on the outskirts of the city. We have used that peg and fleshed it out into a narrative involving multiple characters, with backgrounds on why each of them had to be on the pick-up bus from Anand Rao Circle, that would take them to their onward journey.”
He adds, “The highlight of the narrative is that the twists in the tale are totally unpredictable. What you think will be the course of the story by the end of the first half, is not what will unfold thereafter. It will leave you on the edge of your seat, while also drawing your attention to why one should be careful on a journey”

hits theatres today, newbie producer Suresh of Srishti Enterprises can heave a sigh of relief. It has, after all, been an uphill task for him in trying to complete the film and getting it its date with audiences. The catchy title apart, Suresh believes that his film will offer audiences a gripping viewing throughout its run time. “Prayanikara Gamanakke is a suspense thriller that unfolds over the course of a few hours, involving only a handful of characters. While most of the cast are newcomers, the strength of the film is the story and the characterisations,” he says.He adds, “The highlight of the narrative is that the twists in the tale are totally unpredictable. The film stars Bharat Sarja,
Amita Ranganathan
and Lokesh, among others, and has music by Bharat’s brother, Vijeth. “Given the nature of the genre, it didn’t seem fitting to have too many songs. The film has only two numbers, one each written by lyricist-directors AP Arjun and Chetan Kumar. The background score is another highlight and since the story occurs at night, the music elevates the viewing experience,” Suresh signs off.end of article
