Pranitha Subhash and Rishi mesmerised by the beauty of Mangaluru locales

Pristine beaches, age-old bridges, coconut palm fringed by lanes and gurgling rivers which formed the backdrop of their upcoming film Ramana Avatara has left its lead pair Pranitha Subhash and Rishi much enchanted after their recent schedule in the

coastal

city.
“Although I’ve been to Mangaluru a few times, this is the first time that I’ve seen the city up close and gotten a glimpse of its ways. I’ve come away totally besotted with it,” shares Pranitha. The actor plays a final year journalism student, who goes to Mangaluru on a project. “The characters that Rishi and I play meet in Mangaluru through a chance encounter and he shows me around the place,” she adds.
Meanwhile, Rishi who shot in the coastal city for the first time concedes that the landscape of the city left him impressed. “People here respect nature, and the land is blessed with such stunning views. It took me a little while to get used to the weather because the sun is blazing hot unlike Bengaluru, but once I got used to it, I liked the whole experience,” says Rishi.
The film, directed by Vikas and Vinay Pampapathi, was shot in Padukere,

Udupi

and Mangaluru. “We had to wrap up early owing to the rains and I used this opportunity to go kayaking in Mulki,” wraps up Pranitha.
