Pranitha excited to promote Whistle

Sandalwood actress Pranitha -- who is paired with Chiranjeevi Sarja in the Kannada remake of the Tamil hit Pizza, called Whistle -- is eagerly the film’s July 12 release. Directed by Prashant Raj of Love Guru fame, the film has music by Joshua Sridhar.
Pranitha took to her micro-blogging page to write about the film’s impending release. “Can't wait to start promotions .. Apart from the interviews, we are also planning college visits and Road trips! Gonna be funnnn :)) !!” tweeted the actress, who has just returned from a 12-day schedule in Malaysia for her upcoming film Brahma, in which she’s paired with Real Star Upendra.The actress added that the song Palapala Kangala was her favourite on the OST and promised to post a video link of the song soon.
Meanwhile, director Prashant is pretty confident that the film will work in Sandalwood. “The original film released at a time when there was strife due to the Cauvery water issue and hence, Pizza did not make it to theatres here. Whistle, will, therefore, be novel for audiences here,” he says.
