Actor Pramod Panju has gotten back to his roots during the lockdown, while staying at his village, Maddur. The actor is spending his self-isolation time amidst the agricultural land and streams where he spent his childhood, before he shifted to Bengaluru to pursue his interest in films.
Giving us a peek into his rural life on #QuickTakesWithBangaloreTimes, the actor says, “Lockdown is a blessing in disguise to me, as I got to spend time in my village Maddur which has given me golden moments of my life that I would cherish for the rest of my life.
The journey to become an actor started from here. Unlike in urban areas where I need to stay indoors, I am spending most of my time outside here enjoying the serene atmosphere of the village and relishing village style delicacies. I also learnt swimming and fishing.”
Pramod is using the pristine atmosphere of the village to pen a script. “Direction is always my dream and I am using this time judiciously to pen a script. I can’t wait to get back to work as soon as normalcy returns, as two of my projects that were supposed to take off, have been affected by the lockdown.”
