Prabhudeva set to make a comeback to Kannada films

He is set to dance in a special song alongside Puneeth Rajkumar
Puneeth Rajkumar is one of the finest dancers in the

Kannada

film industry. Prabhudeva's skills as a dancer and choreographer are well known all over. It can only mean pure magic on screen when these two power houses come together for a special dance number. And Sandalwood fans are in for a treat as this is set to happen soon in the Kannada remake of the Tamil film Oh My Kaduvule, where these two stars will be seen dancing for a special number.

In fact, the song has been shot through this week in Bengaluru. This film features Darling Krishna in the lead role, while Puneeth Rajkumar will be seen in a special cameo. The original film had Ashok Selvan in the lead, while Vijay Sethupathi had essayed the cameo. The Kannada remake has been titled as

Lucky Man

and the film is nearly complete, with only this one song left for shoot.

Another interesting bit of trivia is that the Kannada film is being directed by Nagendra Prasad, who is the brother of Prabhudeva. Nagendra has in fact acted in Kannada films before this. Prabhudeva too is no stranger to the Kannada film screens and his cult outing with Upendra in the film H2O is something that Sandalwood fans recall fondly even till this date.

Prabhudeva's father Mugur Sundar has his roots in Karnataka and the family has always supported members from the Kannada film industry whenever they have had a chance to, over the course of their careers.
