Prabhu Mundkur-Divya Uruduga's Ranchi to hit screens on November 11

Prabhu Mundkur and Divya Uruduga starrer Ranchi now has a release date. The thriller, directed by Shashikanth Gatti and jointly produced by Rudra Films and Girija Talkies in association with Shashikanth Motion Pictures Pvt Limited, will hit the screens on November 11.
The film based on a true story is inspired by an incident that reportedly took place back in 2009, when Shashikanth received a call from a person in Ranchi, who claimed to be calling on behalf of the government and said that he was interested in making a documentary.
However, upon visiting the place, the director soon realised he had been conned. The movie tells the story of how he escaped the situation and also helped the police nab the conmen.
The film, starring Prabhu Mundkur, Divya Uruduga, Aarthi Nair, will also feature Bengali actor Tota Roy Chowdhury in a key role. Produced by Rudranand and Arun Kumar, in association with Shashikanth Motion Pictures, Ranchi has its cinematography done by Vinod J Raj and songs composed by Manikanth Kadri.
