Critically acclaimed filmmaker
Pawan Kumar has been vocal with his support against the construction of the steel flyover in Bengaluru. The flyover, which will displace more than 800 trees, has had many Bengalureans up in arms. Now, the Lucia filmmaker has made a one-minute short film using minimal props, like his daughter's lunch box, some toys and cutlery like forks and knives.
This film has become popular on social media because of its powerful message. Pawan, meanwhile, has also invited aspiring filmmakers to share their one-minute films to show how they are against the steel flyover, and has also promised to include the top three filmmakers in this contest as part of his next film's team. Now, isn't that a novel way to get people to spread the message against the steel flyover?
