Back from Kazakhstan for his film 'Gaalipata 2', filmmaker
Pawan Kumar was seen presenting the poster of a Kannada film called - Ikkat.
"Happy to present this Kannada Film called - IKKAT. It's a genuine laugh riot, made by a bunch of funny people. We will release the trailer soon and I hope all of you will give this movie a lil love and attention, just enough for us to make more of these in the future.

In a brief chat with Bangalore Times, here's what
Pawan had to say about the film and why he decided to collaborate with the team.
"Ikkat is a movie by Esham and Haseen Khan whom I call the Khan brothers who had earlier released a Kananda web series online which was funny and garnered a lot of attention. And, Nagabhushana who is friend of mine and we have worked together for a few comedy sketches earlier, told me about this film that they have been working on during the lockdown and what's interesting is that when the film was in its finishing stages I got a chance to see it. In fact, we got a test copy and my entire family watched it including my daughter had a great time and was laughing throughout. And, I was happy to see how the film connected with her," says Pawan. who was intrigued by the fresh and funny approach that was taken to make the film and tell a story.
"During the lockdown, many films were made on the lockdown which was more serious, but this film did not take the lockdown that way and the film had a funny and refreshing vibe to it and I felt that this film should connect with more people and hence decided to present the film," he said.
The film is complete and is currently going through the censorship process. "We are planning to release it during May. Hopefully, people would watch it and look back at the year that was and laugh at something that we all have gone through," wraps Pawan.
