celebrates her birthday tomorrow. She shared a
note
where she declared how she will not celebrate her birthday this year and instead urged fans and followers to help people in need in this
pandemic
.
In her note titled A Birthday To Remember,
Parul
wrote:
Life had been very kind to me.. and my birthdays, especially the past few ones, have been a reflection of God's kindness and generosity to me... But I won't be celebrating my birthday this year...This virus has really walloped the world but I know that we will win over it. What's heartbreaking is the situation of the displaced and dispossessed in our country.. and around the world.. The scourge of systemic injustice to the poor and minorities everywhere is perhaps too much for any one person to solve but I definitely believe that I can't celebrate anything in these circumstances.. I apologise in advance for not responding to any birthday wishes tomorrow but in case anyone wants to wish me please do so by contributing whatever you can to the needy people trudging thousands of kilometres to go back to their deprived conditions. Remember that these people chose to live away from their villages because they wanted to improve their lives.. and look what we have forced them to do.. I hope you understand and thank you for your love
