Times Fresh Face Season 12 first runner up, Anjali Anish is all set to make her debut with a campus love story,

Padavi Poorva

. On #QuickTakesWithBangaloreTimes, the

actress

talks about actors who have inspired her:

1. Julie Andrews: As a kid, my mother would play the VHS tapes of her films everyday and that is when I realised that actors can sing, dance, look beautiful and act at the same time. I love her films like Mary Poppins and Princess Diaries, among others.

2. Puneeth Rajkumar: Anyone who knows me, knows what a big fan I am of Puneeth Rajkumar. In fact, my friends got me a birthday cake which had his picture on it. I remember when I watched his film Appu, I was young and wanted to be him. I wanted to dance, sing and do those mid-air splits like him.

3. Jim Carrey: He is my absolute favourite. I feel he's one of the craziest and most-talented actors. He's been in many films, which I personally love. Though he is known for his comedies, he is able to portray any character with ease. For example, I thought Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind would be funny, because it had Jim Carrey in it. But I cried through that film several times.

4. Emma Stone: She is my girl crush. She is able to tune into so many characters - whether it is Easy A, Birdman, The Help. She's made each character stand out so well. I also resonate with her because of her voice. I've been told that I do not have an actress-like voice, but to see a fellow awkward girl be successful in Hollywood gives me a lot of

inspiration

.

5. Sridevi: She's an inspiration for many reasons. I feel she's one of those actresses whose aura just attracts you. Whether it is her old films like Chandni or relatively newer ones like English Vinglish and Mom, she's been able to touch hearts.
