Playing a cop is not only about sporting khaki and following a certain body language, as actress
Paavana
found out recently. Paavana, who will be seen as a constable in the upcoming crime thriller
Saddu Vicharane Nadeyttude
, has been undergoing training at the police training school in
Mysuru
to get into the skin of the character.
“I play a constable in the film. There are scenes of my police academy training, which the team wanted to be shot in the most realistic manner. For this, we received help from the police training school, where I was taught the body language and mannerisms to be followed, how to do the march-past, and salute correctly. I was also given training in basic karate and rifle shooting. After that, we shot in the same premises,” explains Paavana, who will share screen space with
Rakesh Maiya in the film, which also has
Achyuth Kumar and Jahangeer in pivotal roles.
Paavana further adds that the entire film has been shot predominantly in
Sakleshpur
. “The story revolves around a murder case that becomes a daunting task for the police to solve.A lower rung officer provides a lead in cracking the case and how even a diligent constable makes all the difference to the investigation forms the crux of the story,” she explains.
