Our trailer struck a chord, states Geetha Priya about her upcoming film Aparichite

Actor-educator Geetha Priya will bring real-life authenticity to her role as a teacher in the upcoming social-thriller, Aparichite, a film that promises to deliver a strong social message alongside its mystery. “The film, produced by Amara Films under the direction of Suresh Kumar N, is generating buzz following its recent audio and teaser launch in Bengaluru. Former CM Shri Sadananda Gowda, who released the trailer, praised the film’s intent, while actor Tara Anuradha, known for backing new talent, unveiled the first song,” Geetha says.

She notes that her real-life academic background fuelled her performance. She recalls that her favorite moment during the shoot involved a scene with children, explaining, “I relate the most when I’m with kids; and that moment felt natural.” In the film, Geetha plays a well-to-do teacher who is driven by curiosity and an urge to explore unfamiliar experiences. To prepare for the role, she says, “I observed people with similar personality traits to understand their emotional and behavioural patterns. I had to study how such a person speaks, behaves and reacts in daily life.”

Despite the hectic routine of filming, she calls the experience “tiring but interesting,” adding that veteran actor Srinath guided her through several scenes of the film, urging her to keep her performance natural.

Geetha says the trailer received a “very strong response,” with viewers appreciating the suspense element. “There’s a decoding angle in the plot and people connected to that immediately,” she adds. The event also saw the presence of industry names like Niranjan Shetty, her co-star Nikita, and several colleagues from her academic circle.The music, composed by Anil, has a slow-rock flavour in its first track, “which will appeal to the youth.”
