Om Puri returns to Kannada films

Veteran actor Om Puri will be acting in a Kannada film after a gap of over 10 years. We hear he's playing the role of a Mumbai commissioner in a film titled Tiger. Puri has been shooting for the film since the last four days. For actor Rajesh Nataranga, who is acting alongside Puri (essaying the role of a cop), it's a “fantastic experience“. He recalls going up to Puri as fan, in Hyderabad, where the latter was shooting for a film.And now that he's working with him, he has to pinch himself to believe it. “A dream come true,“ said Nataranga. The film, directed by Nanda Kishore, also stars Pradeep in the lead role.
