Yes I was Covid positive... I recovered. There’s no shame in it or gain... I was at home all through didn’t even know how I got it. But let’s discuss the need of the hour! What do you do if you get it?
First - don’t panic, even before the report tells you, you know your body, you know the signs. Isolate!! The earlier the better, don’t wait ‘hogatthe jwara eno viral irbeku’ I mean what the hell?! It isn’t... you need to break the chain you NEED to be away from family. That’s the least first thing you are responsible for your family! Then.. consult doctors -get appropriate medication. Don’t self medicate! you didn’t clear medical boards it’s not a joke and whatsapp university can’t teach everything and everyone’s body/symptoms are different! I e-consulted with Dr.Aravinda SN, Aster hospitals he was amazing... notice the symptoms monitor yourself, any changes talk with family, keep hydrated and take bloody rest 😊 .. Be careful but do lead a life! Do video calls, sleep through the day, learn ‘virtual hugs’ for your kids, @ravishankar.gowda had a beautiful endearing regime of evening time coffee chat through the closed doors - the day’s update and my giggle dose ❤️.. video updates with mom, aunts, siblings and cousins, chilling calls with friends - i continued my work that really kept my focus on what’s better... I didn’t realise that 17 days just went by!!! Take it in your stride, be cool, focus on health and signs, stay strong. And this passes. It always passes. Be humble enough to know the strength of nature, strong enough to know your own resilience. #covidsurvivor
