In a reply to an RTI, Central Prison authorities reveal that both actresses had no visitors since the arrest.

Replying to an RTI query seeking details of those visiting actress Sanjjanaa Galrani and Ragini Dwivedi, the authorities of Central Prison (Parapanna Agrahara) said the duo hasn't received a single visitor since they were lodged in jail. The actress were arrested in the Sandalwood drug peddling case and have been lodged in the jail since then.
Activist T Narasimhamurthy, who filed the RTI application, said that the prison has not furnished extracts from the 'visitors' diary' that he had sought.

According to the activist he had raised the the query on September 25 and prison officials replied on October 12. The reply reached him on Tuesday.
"With reference to the above subject, we received your RTI application through the prison head office enquiring about visitors of undertrial prisoners. Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani from their date of admission till today. As a precautionary measure due to Covid-19, visitors are not allowed in Central Prison. I hereby inform you that as per prison records nobody visited them," read the reply from R Latha, superintendent and public information officer, Central prison.
Ragini was arrested on September 4, after her house was raided followed by a long investigation at the Central Crime Branch office. Sanjjanaa was arrested four days later on September 8 in a similar fashion, where there was a raid in her residence and then she was arrested after an interrogation at the CCB office. The two actresses initially spent days in the CCB custody in a remand home, following which they were sent to the central jail.
