Yes, you have read it right. Veteran Sandalwood director Ravindranath (63), who died after he suffered a massive heart attack at the railway station in Hyderabad on Sunday, will have no cremation or burial. Reason: Ravindranath’s body will be donated to the MS Ramaiah hospital in Bangalore for research.
Sources say actors Girija Lokesh and Srujan Lokesh have taken the initiative and got the nod from Ravindranath’s brother in this regard.

The director a close-friend of south superstar Rajinikanth directed well-known film like Veerappan and Nammoora Huduga. He made his directorial debut with Aparanji and went on to direct films like Henne Ninageke Ee Bandhana,Veerappan, Sangliana 3 and Nammoora Huduga, to name a few. His film Veerappan, a 1991 release, got a state award for the year 1992-93.
