A humbled Senna Hegde, the director, replied to Nivin, saying that this was as "good as it gets".

it is interesting to note that Nivin starred in the Tamil remake of Rakshit Shetty's Ulidavaru Kandanthe, and that Rakshit is a producer of Katheyondu Shuruvagide. The movie has already released abroad and will release this Friday in India.
