A state of emergency has been declared in Thailand due to the political unrest in the country. The country -- which is one of the most popular destinations in the world to shoot Indian films -- is currently one of the locations for the Puneeth Rajkumar film Ninnindhale. However, despite the turmoil in the country, the team is said to be safe.
The film's producer Vijaykumar’s brother, Karthik Gowda, who is the film's coordinator, says, "The protests have been going on for the last 2-3 months, but there's hasn't been any problem with the progress of our shoot for even a day.

Today, the state is under emergency, but we have completed our schedule here and the team will head back to Bangalore tonight."
In fact, Bobby, a popular film coordinator in Thailand added that the shoot of Ninnindhale took place in Bangkok on Monday, and that another shoot took place the next day at a location two hours' drive from the Thai capital. He added that there were other film shoots taking place in the country at the moment, including a Tamil and Punjabi film, and a Bengali team arrived in the country on Tuesday morning.
Ninnindale also stars Erica Fernandes and is being directed by Jayant Paranji.
