Ninnindale producer files piracy case

When Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar stars in a film, it naturally generates a lot of excitement. This is what happened with Ninnindale, Puneeth’s latest release, which also stars debutante Erica Fernandez, which received a more than encouraging opening on Thursday.
Sandalwood has done a lot to curb piracy, and has been successful to a large extent. But an incident on Friday showed that the piracy monster has still not been tamed.A day after Ninnindale’s release, an attempt at piracy came to light at a single screen theater in Bangalore. Producer Vijay Kirgandur and the theater owner have filed a complaint against some people for recording the film on cameras inside the theater. The complaint has been lodged at the Upparpet Police Station, and cops will most likely take action soon.
