Actress Nikita Thukral has been a heartthrob of many in

South Indian cinema

. While she has had an active career in front of the camera for a decade and a half, she took a step back after her wedding and motherhood and is busy with her household in Mumbai.


Nikita is known for her roles alongside almost all the top heroes in South India including names like Darshan and Puneeth Rajkumar in. Kannada. She even was part of the first ever season of

, where she made it to the finale week and was one of the most loved and popular contestants.


She got married and settled down in Mumbai, where she also got busy taking care of her daughter Jasmyrrah. She has since been busy with her designer label and also has been writing a book that talks about her journey to taking up philosophy.


Nikita, though, has always maintained that she loves acting the most and would do anything to be in front of the camera. She recently took to her social media profile to share that she is back in front of the camera and doing something new, which has piqued the interest of her fans and followers who have been curious to know what she is doing.


Nikita has revealed to Bangalore Times that this is for a web series in

Telugu

and that she has also been getting offers for films too. She says that she is eager to shoot for a film and says she will sign one when she gets the right subject.
